Bill Schmoldt enters his third season as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at BW in 2024.

Prior to BW, Schmoldt served as head men’s lacrosse coach at Heidelberg University for five seasons. Prior to Heidelberg, he served as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator at Oberlin College for two seasons. Before Oberlin, Schmoldt served as the head coach for John Carroll University’s club team for five seasons, where he posted a record of 51-40.

He got his start coaching lacrosse at Saint Ignatius High School, where he served as an assistant coach.

In addition, Schmoldt serves as the Cleveland Director of Resolute Lacrosse and is the owner of Cleveland Suburban Lacrosse.

Schmoldt earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Marquette (Wis.) University in 2001. He was a four-year starter and two-year captain on the club lacrosse team.
