LILBURN, Ga. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team has jumped back into the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Top-25 poll.
BW, who last ranked 18 in the November 18 poll, enters this week's poll at 25. The Yellow Jackets have won seven of their last eight games and are the only Ohio Athletic Conference team ranked in the poll.
BW opened the 2024 portion of its schedule with a pair of OAC victories over the University of Mount Union and Marietta College last week. The Yellow Jackets loss in its last eight games is current No. 3 nationally ranked Rhode Island College.
BW is back in action on Wednesday, January 10 when it hosts an OAC showdown against Ohio Northern University in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center at 7 p.m. The Yellow Jackets and Polar Bears enter the contest as the last two undefeated teams in league standings.
