Ressler Garners Second Career Midstream Lighting OAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Accolade

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC guard/forward Caely Ressler (Napoleon) has been named the Midstream Lighting OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time in her career.

Ressler earns her second weekly honor after leading BW to the University of Rochester (N.Y.) Chuck Resler Tournament Championship last weekend.  She scored a team-high 19 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and had three steals in the Yellow Jackets first round 58-51 comeback victory over Gettysburg (Pa.) College on Friday.  Ressler closed out the tournament as she scored a team-high 18 points, grabbed three rebounds, and had three steals in BW's 66-61 victory over Rochester in the title game on Saturday.   For her efforts, Ressler was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player 

In her career, Ressler has played in 50 games with 23 starts.  She has scored 363 points, grabbed 257 rebounds, dished out 59 assists, made 39 steals and has blocked 27 shots.

Off the court, she is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar. 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, November 15 when they travel to Angola, Indiana for a non-conference game against No. 13 nationally ranked Trine University in the MTI Center at 7 p.m.
