Yellow Jacket Women Finish Ninth at OAC Cross Country Championships

GATES MILLS, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team finished ninth at the 2014 Ohio Athletic Conference Cross County Championships hosted by John Carroll University on the campus of Gilmour Academy.

The top 18 runners are deemed All-OAC (first nine make the first-team and the second nine make the second-team). The BW women were ninth of 10 teams with 246 points.

Freshman Maeve Christie (Lakewood) led the BW women as she finished in 41st place in a time of 26:28.69.  Senior Dusica Vasic (Cleveland/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) took 56th in a time of 26:51.99 and junior Molly Rehor (Fairview Park/Fairview) was 71st in a time of 27:26.62.

BW is back in action on Saturday, November 15 when it travels to Mason to compete in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional hosted by Wilmington College at The Golf Center at Kings Island at 11 a.m.   The 2014 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships hosted by Wilmington are on Saturday, November 22 at The Golf Center at Kings Island at 11 a.m.
