POWELL, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team finished seventh and the Yellow Jacket men placed ninth at the annual Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational Meet at Liberty Park.

The women were led by junior Kali Fittro (Tiffin/ Columbian) who placed 10th individually of 135 total runners and covered the 5K course in 19:39.3. She was followed by freshman Maeve Christie (Lakewood) who placed 37th in 20:43.2, junior Molly Rehor (Fairview Park/ Fairview) in 48th in 20:55.9, senior Dusica Vasic (Cleveland/ Brecksville-Broadview Heights) in 60th in 21:35.5, junior Abbey Snow (Massillon/ Jackson) in 78th in 22:40.5, freshman Bailee D'Amore (McDonald) in 82nd in 23:00.1, junior Alyssa Nieset (Geneva) in 97th in 23:43.4, sophomore Alivia Stephan (Carey) in 102nd in 23:49.8, junior Lauren Fredriksen (Hambury, N.Y./ Hamburg) in 104th in 23:59.7, freshman Jacquelyn Brown (Tallmadge) in 108th in 24:08.2, sophomore Jasmine Moore (Cleveland Heights) in 25:22.2, senior Brittany Kimble-Walker (Detroit, Mich./ Cass Tech) in 133rd in 27:16.5 and sophomore Emily Gruber (Ashland/ Senior) in 134th in 28:00.2.

The BW men and women are back in action next Saturday, Sept. 13 when they travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan and will run at the Calvin College Knight Invitational Meet at 10:00 a.m.
