Women's Tennis Falls to Oberlin to Open the 2019 Schedule

OBERLIN, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team opened the 2019 portion of their schedule with a 7-2 loss to Oberlin College at the Heisman Field House.

BW (0-3) started doubles action with an 8-5 victory from the tandem of sophomore Ashtyn Morris (Salem) and two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference Imani Robinson (Cincinnati/School for Creative & Performing Arts). The Yellow Jackets lost the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches.

In singles, BW struggled early, falling in the first four matches. Emma Hubbard (Ortonville/Brandon)secured the only BW singles victory after scores of 6-2, 0-6, and 6-2 over Hannah Keidan of Oberlin.

BW will hit the courts next on Saturday, February 23 when they challenge the College of Wooster at 4 p.m at the Paramount Tennis Center.
