BW Senior Jones is OAC Women’s Golfer of the Week

Berea, Ohio -- Baldwin Wallace University senior three-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference women's golfer Rebecca Jones (Hilliard/Darby) is this week's OAC Women's Golfer of the Week.  

She earned the honor for firing rounds of 84 and 82 for a two-day and 36-hole total of 167 strokes to place sixth individually as the Yellow Jackets placed tied for second of 13 teams at the annual Denison University Fall Invitational Tournament at the Granville Golf Club on Sept. 7-8.

After two fall tournaments, Jones tops the Yellow Jackets with an 84.25 stroke average. Two of the past three years, she has led BW to OAC titles and NCAA Division III Tournament berths.

Jones and the Yellow Jackets are now idle until Sept. 21-22 when they compete at The College of Wooster Fall Invitational Tournament.
