BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Rebecca Jones played her fourth season of women's golf at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. She earned her fourth varsity letter and returned the Yellow Jackets to the top of the Ohio Athletic Conference and back into the 2014 NCAA Division III National Tournament.

ATHLETICS HONORS:  As a freshman in 2010-2011, sophomore in 2011-2012 and junior in 2012-2013, Rebecca earned honorable mention All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors.  She also has earned OAC Women's Golfer of the Week honors once (Sept. 6-7, 2013 Denison University Fall Invitational)

GOLF NOTES & OTHER INFORMATION:  In her first three seasons as a Yellow Jacket, Rebecca has helped BW to a 205-68-1 record, OAC titles in 2011 and 2012, a 16th-place finish at the 2011 NCAA Division III National Tournament and a 15th place showing in 2012. Individually, Rebecca enters her senior season having played in 34 career tournaments and 61.5 rounds of 18 holes with an 88.37 career stroke average, including a career-best round of 79 at the 2012 Capital University Purple & White Spring Invitational Tournament.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Rebecca played in her first season of golf and earned her first letter.  In the fall of 2010, she played in six tournaments and 10 round and averaged 88.8 strokes per round.  Rebecca shot her season-best 84 strokes on the second day of the Mercyhurst (Pa.) University Invitational.  During the 2011 spring season, Rebecca helped B-W win the University of Mt. Union Spring Invitational. She played in six tournaments and 12 rounds and averaged 91.33 strokes per round. Rebecca shot her best round during the first round of the Mount Union tourney with an 84. The Yellow Jackets compiled a 83-18 combined fall and spring record and won invitational tournaments at Grove City (Pa.) College, Capital University and the OAC Tournament. B-W finished 15th at the 2011 NCAA Division III National Tournament. Individually, Rebecca was an honorable mention All-OAC selection.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Rebecca  competed in her second season of golf and earned her second letter. In the fall of 2011, Rebecca competed in five tournaments and eight rounds and averaged 88.75 strokes per round. She had a season-best 80 at the Wittenberg University Tournament.  In the spring of 2012, Rebecca played in seven tournaments and 14 rounds and averaged 88.32 strokes per round.  During the Capital University Tournament, she recorded her career-best round of 79 on the first day. B-W finished with a 59-42-1 record, won a second straight OAC Tournament title and placed 16th at the 2012 NCAA Division III National Tournament. Individually, Rebecca was an honorable mention All-OAC choice.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Rebecca played her third season of golf and earned her third letter.  In the fall of 2012, Rebecca played in five tournaments and eight rounds and averaged 83.13 strokes per round. BW won a pair of tournament titles and compiled a 33-8 record. During the spring of 2013, Rebecca played in all five tournaments and 7.5 rounds and averaged 82.80 strokes per round.  Twice she carded a season-low 80.  BW finished with two more invitational titles and a 30-5 record. Overall, BW had a 63-13 record. Individually, Rebecca earned honorable mention All-OAC honors for the third straight season. 

As a senior in 2013-2014, Rebecca played her fourth season of golf and earned her fourth letter. She was named as the OAC Women's Golfer of the Week on September 9, 2013 for her efforts at the Sept. 7-8 Denison University Fall Tournament. Rebecca shot a career-low 77 on the second day of the George Fox (Ore.) Westbrook Invitational in Phoenix, Arizona on March 15, 2014.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Rebecca Jones grew up in Hilliard, Ohio and graduated from Hilliard Darby High School.

She played golf for four years and earned three varity letters, and played basketball for four years and earned one letter.

In golf, Rebecca was won the "Coaches" and "Sportsmanship" awards as a sophomore year. As a junior, she was named second-team All-Ohio Capital Conference. As a senior, Rebecca was second-team All-OCC, an OCC Scholar Athlete, Academic All-Ohio and the Hilliard Draby H.S. Most Vaubale Player.

In basketball as a senior, Rebecca was a second-team All-OAC selection and the Darby H.S. Most Improved Player.
