BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Laura Vidmar competed in her second season of golf at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. She earned her second varsity letter.

GENERAL GOLF INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-13, Laura began playing in her first season of golf and will look to earn her first varsity letter.  In the fall of 2012, Laura played in five tournaments, competed in ten rounds.  Her total of 939 strokes on the season averaged out to 93.90 strokes per round.  In her spring season of 2013, Laura shot a career-low 84 strokes at the George Fox (Ore.) University Spring Break Invitational Tournament at the Westbrook Village Country Club in Peoria, Arizona. She played in all five tournaments and competed in all 7.5 rounds.   She finished the season with 699 strokes and an average of 93.2 strokes per round.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Laura played in her second season of golf and earned her second varsty letter. In the Fall of 2013, Laura played in a total of four tournaments and eight rounds. Her total of 724 strokes averaged out to 93 strokes per round. Laura had her best round of 85 during the Olivet Tournament on day two. BW had a 28-13-1 fall record. In the spring Laura competed in all six tournements, she shot an 83, her lowest score of the spring, at Westbrook Village in Peoria, Arizona.

As a junior  in 2014-2015, Laura will be playing in her third year of golf, as she will look to earn her third varsity letter. 

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Laura Vidmar grew up in Willoughby, Ohio and graduated from Willoughby-South High School. Laura played four years of basketball and golf and she earned three varsity letters in basketball and two in golf, respectively. She also ran one season of track and played one season of softball in which she each a varsity letter in each sport.

In golf as a junior, Laura was named as a second-team All-Conference performer as well as an honorable mention All-Northeast District selection. As a senior, Laura was named as a first-team All-PAC performer as well as an honorable mention All-Northeast District pick and a first-team NEOGCCA performer. Also during her senior year, she was named as The Lake County News-Herald Player of the Week once. In basketball as a senior, Laura was tabbed a first-team All-Conference selection.
