BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team has made its first appearance in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll this season, coming in at No. 24.

After receiving votes in the preseason top 25, BW (4-0) totaled 105 points in the first weekly poll to take the No. 24 spot. This week's poll marks the first time since the 2015-16 season that the Yellow Jackets have been ranked by D3hoops.com and the 111th time in program history. Preseason favorite and reigning national champion Amherst (Mass.) College fell all the way down to No. 7 while Bowdoin (Maine) College overtook the No. 1 spot with 17 first-place votes and 610 points. Hope (Mich.) College moved into the No. 2 spot with 580 points.
