Men's Cross Country Teams Finishes Sixth at OAC Championships

DELAWARE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's across country teams finished sixth at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Capital University at Columbus State Community College.

BW finished sixth of 10 teams with 170 points.  Ohio Northern University was the champion for the second straight year with 29 points. 

The Yellow Jackets were led by freshman Issac Wilson (Tylersburg, Pa./North Clarion) as he placed 21st of 143 runners in a time of 26:58.2.  Junior Dylan Tanner (Mentor) placed 35th in a career-best 8k time of 27:27.6.  Junior Evan Milovich (Westlake) finished 47th in a time of 27:50.1.  Sophomore Spencer Mahon (North Royalton) took 49th in a time of 27:51.5.  Freshman Shane Thatcher (Huron)was 54th in a time of 27:55.8.
 

BW is back in action on Saturday, November 12 when it travels to Holland, Michigan to compete in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships hosted by Hope College at the West Ottawa Golf Course.  The women's race will start at 11 am with the men's race slated for a 12 p.m. start.
