Two Men's Cross Country Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-OAC Honor

Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country student-athletes have been named to the 2016 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team. 

In order to be selected as Academic All-OAC a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and maintain varsity status.

Junior Justin Swords (Brunswick) and sophomore Holden Daly (Vermilion) are two of the 28 fall student-athletes to be recognized.

Swords, who earns his second straight Academic All-OAC accolade, is a business administration major that carries a 3.59 grade point average.  He is a Dean's List student.  Swords had a season-best 8K time of 28:45.5 at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region Championships on November 12. 

Daly, who garners his first Academic All-OAC honor, is a marketing major that carries a 3.90 grade point average.  He is a Dean's List student, a member of the BW College Republicans and is a radio personality at WBWC 88.3 FM.  Daly competed in his first season of cross country and is a member of the track and field team. He had a career-best 8K time of 30:21.4 at the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble on October 15.
