POWELL, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team finished third at the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational at Liberty Park.
BW finished third of four teams with 70 points. Ohio Wesleyan was the champion with 23 points.
The Yellow Jackets were led by freshman Issac Wilson (Tylersburg, Pa. /North Clarion) as he placed fourth of 46 runners in an 8k career-best time of 28:23.0. Sophomore Phil Spronz (Strongsville) was 10th in a time of 29:02.4. Freshman Nick Irwin (Westlake) placed 13th in a career-best time of 29:16.1 and sophomore Spencer Mahon (North Royalton) took 18th in a time of 29:36.3.
BW is back in action on Saturday, September 24 when it travels to Williamsport, Massachusetts to compete in the Purple Valley Classic hosted by Williams College.
