ACADEMIC MAJOR: History
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Justin Swords ran his first season of cross country at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. He earned his first varsity letter. Justin is expected to run his first season of track this winter (indoors) and spring (outdoors) and hopes to earn his first varsity letter.
ACADEMIC HONORS: Justin is a Dean's List student.
GENERAL X-COUNTRY INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2014-2015, Justin ran his first season of cross country and earned his first varsity letter. He placed 163rd at the All-Ohio Meet in 29:13.38, 109th at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Meet in 31:19.84and 209th at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Meet in 28:35.4.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Justin Swords grew up in Hinckley, Ohio and graduated from Brunswick High School.
Justin ran four years of cross country and earned four varsity letters. He ran three years of track and lettered twice. He also played one season of baseball.
In cross country, Justin was a team captain, earned Academic All-Conference honors four times and was an OHSAA State Meet qualifier in 2012. He also received a "Leadership" Award.
In track, Justin was an All-Medina County Gazette pick, earned Academic All-Conference honors three times and was both an OHSAA District and State Meet qualifier on the 4 x 800-meter relay team.
In addition to his Academic All-Conference awards, Justin graduated Summa Cum Laude.
