ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Chemistry

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Michael Brennan played four seasons of men's soccer at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. The All-OAC, All-Ohio and three-time Academic All-OAC student-athlete earned his fourth varsity letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS:  Michael carries a 3.86 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar. He also is a member of the Alpha Lambda, Dayton C. Miller and Chi Sigma Alpha honoraries.

As a sophomore, junior and senior, Michael received Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. Michael also was a second-team Academic All-Ohio pick.

ATHLETIC HONORS:  As a senior in 2014-2015, Michael earned third-team OSCA (Ohio Soccer Coaches Association) All-Ohio and second-team All-OAC honors. At the team's season-ending banquet, he received a "Captains Award".

GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION:   As a freshman in 2011-2012, Michael played his first season of soccer and earned his first varsity letter.  He appeared in 13 games and had eight shots, including three on-goal. Michael recorded his first career goal against Capital University to finish the season with two points. BW finished 16-6 overall, set the school single-season record for victories with 16 and made the school's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III National Tournament.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Michael played his second season of soccer and earned his second letter.  He saw action in all 17 games, including 14 starts, took 20 total shots, including 11 shots on-goal. He scored three goals and added an assist for seven points. For his efforts both in the classroom and on the soccer field, Michael was named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference. BW finished 7-6-4 overall.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Michael played his third season of soccer and earned his third letter.  He played in 20 games, took 37 shots, including 22 on-goal. His 37 total shots ranked second on the team and his 22 shots on-goal ranked first. Michael scored a team-leading six goals, including a team-high two game-winners, and added a team-high-tying three assists for 15 total points. For his efforts in the classroom and in soccer, Michael earned Academic All-OAC honors for the second straight year. BW finished 7-11-3 overall.

As a senior in 2014-2015, Michael played his fourth season of soccer and earned his fourth letter. He played and started all 21 games, ranked second with 35 shots taken, including a team-high-tying 20 on-goal, scored two goals and had a team-high eight assists for 12 total points.  Michael earned third-team OCSCA (Ohio Soccer Coaches Association) All-Ohio and second-team All-OAC honors. For his efforts in the classroom, he received his third Academic All-OAC accolade and was tabbed second-team Academic All-Ohio. At the team's season-ending banquet, he received a "Captains Award". BW finished 10-10-1 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Michael grew up in Akron, Ohio and attended Walsh Jesuit High School.  He played soccer for four years and earned three varsity letters.

Michael was a team captain as a senior and earned the Most Valuable Midfielder award following both his junior and senior seasons. Michael led his team with 10 assists during his senior season.

Academically, Michael received First Honors.
