ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Biology

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Trey Arney played four seasons of soccer at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. The 2014 BW Most Valuable Player earned his fourth varisty letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS:  Trey carries a 3.656 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar. He also is a member of the Chi Sigma Alpha Honor Society.

As a junior in 2013-2014, he earned second-team OCSCA (Ohio College Soccer Coaches Association) Academic All-Ohio and Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. As a senior in 2014-2015, he earned Academic All-OAC and first-team OCSCA Academic All-Ohio honors.

ATHLETIC HONORS:  As a freshman in 2011-2012, Trey was named as the "Rookie of the Year".  As a junior in 2013-2014, he was tabbed third-team All-Ohio. As a senior in 2014-2015, Trey was named second-team All-Ohio and second-team All-OAC. At the season-ending team banquet, Trey was named as BW's Most Valuable Player.

GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION:   As a freshman in 2011-2012, Trey played his first season of soccer and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in 20 matches and started 13. He took nine shots, including five on-goal, scored two goals and had four total points. He played a key role on a defense that had six shutouts. Trey helped the Yellow Jackets win a single-season school-record 16 matches, post a 16-6 record and advance to their first ever NCAA Division III Tournament. He scored his first two collegiate goals in a 6-0 victory at home against the College of Mount St. Joseph. He also was named as the "Rookie of the Year".

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Trey played his second season of soccer and earned his second letter. He appeared and started in 15 matches. Trey took 11 shots, including three on-goal, scored one goal for two points. Defensively, he helped BW recorded six shutouts. Trey scored his third collegiate goal in a 2-0 victory against Defiance University. BW finished 7-6-4 overall.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Trey played his third season of soccer and earned his third letter. He appeared and started in 20 matches, took nine shots, including six on-goal, and scored one goal for two points. For his efforts on the field, Trey earned second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference and third-team All-Ohio honors. For his efforts in the classroom, he earned second-team All-Ohio and Academic All-OAC accolades. BW finished 7-11-3 overall.

As a senior in 2014-2015, Trey played his fourth season of soccer and earned his fourth letter. He played in all 21 matches, took 18 shots, including nine on-goal, scored three goals and had six points. Trey also had one game-winning goal. For his efforts in the classroom, Trey was named Academic All-OAC and first-team OCSCA Academic All-Ohio. For his efforts on the soccer field, he earned second-team All-Ohio honors (second time) and second-team All-OAC accolades. At the season-ending team banquet, Trey was named as BW's Most Valuable Player. BW finished 10-10-1 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Trey Arney grew up in Coshocton, Ohio and graduated from Coshocton High School.

Trey played four years of soccer and earned four varsity letters. He also played three years of basketball.

In soccer, Trey earned the East Central Ohio League Player of the Year award three times and was a three-time first-team All-ECOL selection. As a sophomore, he also was selected as a first-team All-Ohio performer. As a junior and senior, he earned second-team All-Ohio honors.

Academically, Trey carried a better than 3.5 grade point average and was a member of the National Honors Society. He was a four-time Academic All-ECOL selection, a U.S. Marine Corps Scholar-Athlete Award recipient and the Coshocton H.S. Wendy's Heisman Award winner.
