Men's Lacrosse Salutes 11 Senior Student-Athletes

BEREA, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and men's lacrosse program would like to congratulate senior student-athletes David Arlington, Sandy Bishop, Jimmy Brown, Trent Davis, Keller Fisher, Carson Howatt, Ethan Miller, Bryce Moran, Nick Nanosky, Matthew Rodenhouse and Gage Schneider on completing their outstanding athletic careers at the University.

While the NCAA has extended another year of eligibility, it is uncertain if each of these student-athlete will come back for another season or continue down their career path.  So, the University administration, faculty and staff congratulates these 11 young men on their outstanding athletic and academic careers as well as their leadership to the men's lacrosse program. The University would like to wish each of them all the best of luck in their future endeavors and hope that even after graduation that they come back and visit us often. They will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).

Arlington is a business administration and marketing double major from Lockport, New York and a graduate of Lockport High School.  He is a defender that will earn his first varsity letter this spring. Arlington has appeared in 12 career games and has recorded two ground balls and caused two turnovers. Off the field, Arlington is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection and a Dean's List student. He is the son of David and Judy Arlington of Lockport.

Bishop is a finance major from Avon Lake, Ohio and a graduate of Avon Lake High School.  He is a face off specialist and midfielder that will earn his second varsity letter this spring. Bishop has appeared in 23 career games and has recorded one goal and one assist for two total points. He has won 291 of 567 face offs and has tallied 87 ground balls.  He holds the school-record for face offs taken in a game with 33 and a season with 357. Bishop is the son of Bill and Kelly Bishop and Nancy Bishop of Avon Lake.

Brown is a biology major from Canfield, Ohio and a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School.  He is a midfielder that will earn his third varsity letter this spring. Brown has appeared in 38 career games and has recorded six goals and five assists for 11 total points. He also has tallied 32 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers.  Off the field, he is a two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection and a Dean's List student.  Brown is the son of William and Kitty Brown of Canfield.

Davis is a biology and chemistry double major from Ottawa Hills, Ohio and a graduate of Ottawa Hills High School. He is a goalkeeper that will earn his second varsity letter this spring. Davis has appeared in 27 career games between the pipes and has a record of 10-2 with 100 saves in 627 minutes of action. Davis has also recorded 26 ground balls and caused four turnovers. Off the field, he is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, a Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta and Chi Alpha Sigma honoraries. Davis is the son of Kirk and Stacy Davis of Ottawa Hills.

Fisher is a marketing major from Rocky River, Ohio and a graduate of Rocky River High School. He is a face off specialist and midfielder that will earn his third varsity letter this spring.  Keller has appeared in 50 career games and has recorded four goals and four assists for eight total points. He has won 262 of 477 face offs and has tallied 132 ground balls.  He is the son of Jon and Lynne Fisher of Rocky River.

Howatt is a sport management major from Dexter, Michigan and a graduate of Dexter High School. He is a midfielder that will earn his third varsity letter this spring.  Howatt has appeared in 34 career games and notched three goals and three assists for six points. He has also tallied 49 ground balls and caused eight turnovers. Off the field, Howatt is a two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, a Dean's List student, a Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society. He is the son of Stan and Karen Howatt of Dexter.

Miller is a public relations major from Delaware, Ohio and a graduate of Hayes High School. He is a midfielder that will earn his third varsity letter this spring. Miller has appeared in 43 career games and has netted 29 goals and 32 assists for 61 points.  He has also recorded 31 grounds balls and caused five turnovers.  Off the field, Miller has served as the social media contributor for the men's basketball team for the past two seasons.  He is the son of John and Amber Miller of Delaware.

Moran is a sport management major from Medina, Ohio and a graduate of Medina High School.  He is a defender that will earn his second varsity letter this spring.  Moran has appeared in 22 career games and has recorded 21 ground balls, caused eight turnovers, scored four goals and added one assist for five points. He is the son of Brian and Jennifer Moran of Medina.

Nanosky is a pre-physical therapy and pre-allied health major from Medina, Ohio and a graduate of Medina High School. He is an All-Ohio Athletic Conference midfielder that will earn his third varsity letter this spring. Nanosky has appeared in 50 career games and has notched 44 goals and 29 assists for 73 points. He has also recorded 57 ground balls, caused 12 turnovers and has won 26 of 58 face offs. Off the field, Nanosky is a two-time Academic All-OAC selection, a Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society. He is the son of Mike and Kristina Nanosky of Medina. 

Rodenhouse is a biology and sustainability double major from Pittsford, New York and a graduate of Mendon High School. He is an All-Ohio Athletic Conference defender that will earn his third varsity letter this spring. Rodenhouse has appeared in 45 career games and has recorded 71 ground balls and caused 24 turnovers. Off the field, he is a two-time Academic All-OAC selection and a Dean's List student.  Rodenhouse is the son of WJ and Mary Pat Rodenhouse of Pittsford. 

Schneider is a sustainability and business administration double major from Hamburg, New York and a graduate of Hamburg High School.  He is a midfielder that will earn his third varsity letter this spring.  Schneider has appeared in 26 career games and has recorded 14 goals and six assists for 20 total points. He has also tallied 10 ground balls and caused two turnovers. Off the field, Schneider is a Dean's List student. He is the son of Eric Schneider and Betsy Duchscherer of Hamburg
