ACADEMIC MAJOR: Sport Management
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Ryan Sosic played his second season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2016-2017. The 2016 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection earned his second certificate of participation.
ACADEMIC SUCCESS: Ryan carried a 3.588 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar.
ACADEMIC ALL-OAC: As a sophomore in 2016-2017, Ryan received Academic All-OAC honors.
THROUGH-THE-YEARS: As a freshman in 2015-2016, Ryan played his first season of football and hopes to earn his first varsity letter. He split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams as a defensive end. On the varsity, Ryan was credited with making one tackle. BW finished 7-3 overall and tied for second in the OAC at 7-2.
As a sophomore in 2016-2017, Ryan played his second season of football and earned his second certificate of participation. He backed up senior Damon Bollin '17 at DE. Ryan played in three varsity games, made four total tackles, including two for loss and both were quarterback sacks (for minus 16 yards).For his efforts both in the classroom and on the field, he received Academic All-OAC honors. BW finished 3-7 overall.
OTHER GROUPS ON CAMPUS:
Ryan is a member of the Sport Management Club and a student assistant in the athletic communications office
As a freshman, Ryan was able to travel with the Sports Management Club to San Francisco, California to work as an intern at the NFL's Super Bowl.
As a sophomore, Ryan was able to travel with the Sports Management Club to Tampa, Florida and Houston, Texas to work the College Football Playoff and Super Bowl respectively.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Ryan grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio and graduated from Olmsted Falls High School.
Ryan played football and basketball for four years and earned five total varsity letters.
In football, Ryan lettered twice, was a team captain and earned first-team All-Southwestern Conference and second-team All-District honors.
In basketball, Ryan earned three letters, was a team captain for two seasons.
Ryan also was a member of the "Helping Hands" Club at OFHS.
