BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Tyrone Brininger played four seasons of football at Baldwin Wallace University (2013-2016) and earned two varsity letters. The defensive back was a key member of the secondary "nickel" package and special teams.

BW ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE:  Tyrone carries a 3.427 grade point average, is a Dean's List student, a Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.

CAREER SYNOPSIS:  Tyrone played four years of football and earned two varsity letters. As a freshman and sophomore, he split time betwen the varsity and junior varsity teams. As a junior and senior, Tyrone was a member of the varsity secondary and contributed on special teams. He helped BW to compile a 21-19 four-year record.

Statistically, Tyrone played in 15 career games, had 22 tackles, including 13 solo stops.

THROUGH-THE-YEARS: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Tyrone played his first season of football and earned a certificate of participation. He saw playing time at either safety or cornerback on the junior varsity team. BW finished 6-4 overall.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Tyrone played his second season of football and received his second certificate of participation. He split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams as a safety. On the varsity level, Tyrone played in three games and had two tackles. BW finished 5-5 overall.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Tyrone played his third season of football and earned his first varsity letter. He saw action in seven varsity games at cornerback, "nickel" back and on special teams. Tyrone had 12 total tackles, including seven solo stops. BW finished 7-3 overall.

As a senior in 2016-2017, Tyrone played his fourth season of football and earned his second letter. He again was a key member of the secondary and in the "nickel" package. He played in eight games and had 10 tackles, including six solo stops. BW finished 3-7 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Tyrone Brininger grew up in Geneva, Ohio and graduated from Geneva High School.

Tyrone played four years of football and earned three varsity letters. He also wrestled for four years and lettered four times.

In football as a senior in 2012-2013, Tyrone was named first-team All-Premier Athletic Conference, first-team All-Ashtabula County and second-team All-District.

In wrestling, Tyrone was first-team All-County, second-team All-PAC and was a District qualifier.
