EAST LANSING, Mich. - Sophomore Hope Murphy (Mogadore) competed at the 2022 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, hosted by Olivet College at the Forest Akers Golf Course.

Murphy concludes her sophomore year as she finished 90th in the 6k run in a time of 23:22.4 after coming into the meet from placing eighth in the DIII Great Lakes Cross Country Regional Championships. Before regionals, Murphy placed seventh in a time of 23:31.6 at the OAC Championships. Last year, she finished 194th in the 6k run in a time of 23:05.7 at the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, this is her second time qualifying for the NCAA Cross Country Championship.

John Hopkins University took home the trophy in 1st place.
