CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA – Three Baldwin Wallace University wrestlers, senior 133-pounder Andrew Taylor (Columbus/ Worthington Kilbourne) and sophomores 125-pounder Jesse Gunter (Akron/ Coventry) and 174-pounder Ben LeBrun (Strongsville), have been selected as 2014 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-Americans. Currently, Taylor and Gunter are in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and competing at the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament at the U.S. Cellular Center.
Gunter, ranked fifth in Division III and seeded fifth in the tourney, carries a 3.2 grade point average in special education. He owns a 27-4 record this season and is 56-6 in his two-year career. The two-time first-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection placed second at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional.

Taylor, who has three 20-win seasons during his career, has a 3.551 grade point average in elementary education. He is the lone senior on this year's squad. He enters his first match at the NCAA tourney today with a 31-15 record this winter and a 91-68 career mark. Last week, Taylor was named All-OAC. He placed third at this year's NCAA Division III Mideast Regional.
LeBrun had an outstanding sophomore season and carries a 3.773 grade average in international studies and business. The starter at 174 pounds had a 24-12 record with five pins and now owns a 40-31 career mark after two seasons. He also is a Dean's List student and was named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference.
