BEREA, Ohio – A trio of Baldwin Wallace University wrestlers, sophomores 125-pounder Jesse Gunter (Akron/ Coventry) and 165-pounder David Shapiro (Beachwood) and senior 133-pounder Andrew Taylor (Columbus/Worthington Kilbourne), were selected to the 2013-2014 All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.  Gunter is a repeat selection.

Gunter was a first-team All-OAC choice for the second straight year.  The 2014 NCAA Division III national qualifier and East Region runner-up has a 27-4 record this season and is ranked seventh in the most recent NWCA (National Wrestling Coaches Association) Brute-adidas Division III national poll. He also has a 56-6 career mark.

Taylor and Shapiro were second-team picks and first time recipients. Taylor and Shapiro each placed third at last weekend's NCAA Div. III East Region Tournament and will join Gunter at the 2014 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament from March 14-15 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at the U.S. Cellular Center.

Taylor is having his best season as a collegian and owns a 31-15 record this season and a 91-68 career mark with three 20-win seasons.  Shapiro tops the team with 39 wins and a 39-11 this season. He has a two-year career mark of 66-25.

The trio helped the Yellow Jackets compile an 8-3 dual match record, including a 2-2 slate in the OAC.
