Brennan Finishes Third at OAC Men's Cross Country Championships

BEREA, Ohio – Sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC runner Brian Brennan (Akron/Walsh Jesuit) led the Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team to a fifth place finish at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by BW at Wallace Lake in the Mill Stream Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks.
 
The Yellow Jacket men finished fifth of 10 teams with 125 points.   Ohio Northern University unseeded three-time defending champion the University of Mount Union, who finished third, to win the team title with 39 points.  

Brennan, who earned his second straight All-OAC honor, led the men's squad as he finished third of 130 runners in a career-best time of 25:14.5.

In addition, sophomore Evan Milovich (Westlake) placed 28th with a time 26:41.3.  and senior All-Ohio runner Greg Blevins (Mentor) finished 31st in a time of 26:46.1.  Freshman Creighton Jensen (Sheffield Lake/Brookside) was 53rd in a time of 27:26.5.  Rounding out the team scorers was sophomore Brady Jeffers (South Amherst/Firelands), as he placed 56th in a time of 27:32.6.

BW is back in action on Saturday, November 14 when it travels to Terre Haute Indiana to compete in the NCAA Division III Great Lake Regional Championships hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology at 12:30 p.m.
