TIFFIN, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Tiffin Track Carnival, co-hosted by Tiffin University and Heidelberg University.

BW placed ninth out of 19 participating teams with 17 points. NCAA Division II Ashland University won the meet with 71 points.

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

• Sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference distance runner Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station / Columbia) won the 800-meter run in a time of 1:55.02
• Senior All-OAC distance runner Gehrig Stanley (Twinsburg / Benedictine) placed seventh in the 1500-meter run in a time of 3:56.74
• Junior Nick Young (Wadsworth) finished 10th in the 400-meter dash in a time of 49.23

Field events highlights:

• Junior All-American high jumper Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst) won the high jump with a mark of 2.05 meters
• Freshman Connor Radojcsics (Mount Gilead / Northmor) finished third in the pole vault with a mark of 3.53 meters
• Junior Thomas Hickman (Oxford / Talawanda) placed third in the discus throw with a distance of 45.80 meters
• Junior Joe Barnes (West Plains, Mo.) finished fifth in the javelin throw's gold heat with a mark of 49.49 meters
• Junior Kaleu Tellas (Indianapolis, Ind. / International School of Indiana) placed sixth in the shot put's gold heat with a mark of 15.85 meters

On the relay side:

• The Yellow Jackets won the 4x100 meter relay in a time of 44.22

BW returns to action on Friday, April 19 for the Jesse Owens Classic, hosted by NCAA Division I Ohio State University.
