Men's Tennis Honors Two Senior Student-Athletes

BEREA, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and men's tennis program would like to congratulate senior student-athletes Michael Benotti and Jonathan Brunnet on completing their outstanding athletic careers at the University.

While the NCAA has extended another year of eligibility, it is uncertain if each of these student-athlete will come back for another season or continue down their career path.  So, the University administration, faculty and staff congratulates these two young men on their outstanding athletic and academic careers as well as their leadership to the men's tennis program. The University would like to wish each of them all the best of luck in their future endeavors and hope that even after graduation that they come back and visit us often. They will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).

  

Benotti is a business administration and helathcare management double major from Pittsford, New York and a graduate of Mendon High School.  He is an All-Ohio Athletic Conference player that will earn his third varsity letter this spring.  In his career, Benotti, who is a three-letterwinner, had a singles record of 39-13 and a doubles mark of 24-19.

 

 

 

 

  

 

Brunnet is a middle childhood education major from Berea, Ohio and a graduate of Berea-Midpark High School. He is fifth singles and third doubles player that will earn his first varsity letter this spring. For his career, Brunett has played in five matches and has a record of 1-4 in both singles and doubles. He is the son of Cyndi Brunnet of Berea.
