DELAWARE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University tennis alumnus Bobby Irwin '11 has been named the Women's Tennis Head Coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Irwin continues his head coaching career after spending the past two seasons as the head coach of Ursuline College's women's tennis team.

"I'm thankful to Doug Zipp, the search committee, and Ohio Wesleyan for this opportunity," said Irwin in a statement to Ohio Wesleyan Athletics.  "Ohio Wesleyan is such an excellent academic and athletic school, and I'm so excited to be here.  I'm looking forward to building on the success of the program and providing a positive student-athlete experience for our team."

Irwin played three seasons with the Yellow Jackets and was a part of some of the most successful teams in program history under head coach Brian Rector '89. The Yellow Jackets tallied 58 wins over his three seasons on the team, while Irwin himself notched 16 personal victories in his sophomore year.

A native of Ashland, Ohio, Irwin graduated from Baldwin Wallace with degrees in Business Management and Accounting. Irwin also graduated as a member of the Honors Program, and won the Campus and Community Service Award during his junior year.
