ACADEMIC MAJOR: Physics  

CAREER SYNOPSIS:   Jarrod Gilliam played four years of men's lacrosse and earned four varsity letters. The three-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection was solid both in the classroom and on the lacrosse field. Jarrod helped BW to compile a 45-16 record (a .738 winning percentage) and 19-7 OAC record, including capturing the 2016 OAC regular season co-title. Individually, Jarrod played in 61 career games, took 160 total shots, including 103 on-goal, scored 36 goals and added 13 assists for 49 career points scored. He had three goals up and one down, 43 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers.

BW ACADEMIC HONORS:    Jarrod carried a 3.72 grade point average and was a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar. He also was a member of the Chi Sigma Alpha Honor Society.

ACADEMIC ALL-OAC HONORS:   Jarrod was a three-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection. 

THROUGH-THE-YEARS:    As a freshman in 2013-2014, Jarrod played in his first season of lacrosse and earned his first varsity letter. He played in all 14 games, took 57 total shots, including a career-high 43 on-goal, scored a career-high 14 goals and added a career-high seven assists for a career-high 21 points scored. He also collected a career-high 19 ground balls and caused five turnovers. Jarrod scored a career-high four points in a win at Houghton (N.Y.) on March 8 when he scored three goals and added one assist. BW finished 7-7 overall.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Jarrod played his second season of lacrosse and earned his second letter. He played in all 15 games, took a career-high 61 shots, including 36 on-goal, scored 12 goals and had five assists for 17 total points. He also had three goals (up), four ground balls and three caused turnovers. For his efforts in the classroom and on the field, Jarrod earned Academic All-OAC accolades. BW finished 12-3 overall and advanced to the OAC semifinals. 

As a junior in 2015-2016, Jarrod played his third season of lacrosse and earned his third letter. He appeared in 17 games, took 35 total shots, including 20 on-goal, scored eight goals and added one assist for nine total points. He also had nine ground balls and four caused turnovers.In an OAC matchup against Wilmington College on April 3, Jarrod scored a season-high two goals. He earned Academic All-OAC honors for the second straight season. BW finished 14-3 overall, tied for the OAC regular season title with a 6-1 mark and advanced to the OAC semifinals.

As a senior in 2016-2017, Jarrod played his fourth season of lacrosse and earned his fourth letter. He moved to a defensive midfield position, played in 15 games, took seven total shots, including four on-goal, and scored twice for two total points. He had one goal down. Jarrod also had 11 ground balls and a career-high eight caused turnovers. He earned Academic All-OAC accolades for the third straight season. BW finished 12-3 overall and advanced to the OAC semifinals.
