MIKE DICKEY'S CAREER SYNOPSIS IN LACROSSE:  Michael "Mike" Dickey played four years of lacrosse, was a four-year starter on defense and earned four varsity letters. He helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 45-16 record with one Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title. Individually, Mike played in 59 career games, including starting 58 (missing two with injuries). He scored one goal, had 114 ground balls and caused 79 turnovers. He was a key member of a BW defense that led Division III in scoring defense for three straight seasons (2015-2017).

ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Business Administration 

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:  Mike played one season of football (as a freshman) and received a Certificate of Participation. He was a linebacker on the Junior Varsity team.

LACROSSE THROUGH-THE-YEARS:    As a freshman in 2013-2014, Mike played his first season of lacrosse and earned his first varsity letter. The defender played in 13 games, including 12 starts, took one shot on-goal and scored one goal. He also collected 35 ground balls and caused 19 turnovers. BW finished 7-7 overall.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Mike played his second season of lacrosse and earned his second varsity letter. He played in all 15 games, including 14 starts, took one shot on-goal, ranked fourth in ground balls with 36 and second with 24 caused turnovers. BW finished with a school-record 12 victories, including a record 11 straight wins to start the season, a 12-3 record and advanced to the OAC Tournament semi-finals. Mike also was a key member of a defense that led Division III in scoring defense.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Mike played his third season of lacrosse and earned his third letter. He started in 16 games, had 29 ground balls and was third on on the team with 23 caused turnovers. He was a key member of a BW team that led Division III in scoring defense. In an OAC game versus the University of Mount Union Michael caused a season-high five turnovers on April 20, 2016. BW finished 14-3 overall and tied for the 2016 OAC regular season title.

As a senior in 2016-2017, Mike played his fourth season of lacrosse and earned his fourth varsity letter. The four-year starter on defense was a key to BW leading Division III in scoring defense for the third straight season. He had 14 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. BW finished 12-3 overall.
