BEREA, Ohio – For the first time in her career, Baldwin Wallace University junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference defender Josie Fenn (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler Area) has been selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District 7 Team.
Fenn and the rest of the first-team Academic All-District nominees now advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team Ballot, which will be announced on December 3.
A pre-physical therapy major and Dean's List student, Fenn carries a perfect 4.0 grade point average, and will likely earn her second Academic All-OAC selection this fall.
In her junior season, Fenn started in all 21 games for BW and helped anchor a Yellow Jackets defense that allowed 1.76 goals per game, limited opponents to 12.3 shots per game, and earned seven shutouts.
BW finished the 2019 campaign with an 11-9-1 record and a 4-4-1 mark in OAC play, advancing to the OAC Tournament for the seventh consecutive season.
