KENT, Ohio – Select members of the Baldwin Wallace University men's track team competed at the annual Kent State University Tune-Up Meet in the Fieldhouse. The meet is unscored and utilized as a platform for Yellow Jacket student-athletes to better or improve their season's best in an effort to qualify for the 2015 NCAA Division III National Indoor Track & Field Championship Meet.
BW was led by junior All-American sprinter Ben Beidleman (Washington, D.C./ St. Anselm's Abbey) who placed second in the 200-meter dash in a career-best time of 22.03 seconds and eighth in the 60-meter dash in 7.13 seconds.
In addition, junior Tyler Burdorff (Painesville/ Riverside) placed 10th in the weight throw with a toss of 57 feet and seven inches.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday and Saturday, February 27-28 when they compete at the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Meet at Capital University.
