ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Biology

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Mike DiZonno played his first season of men's lacrosse at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. The All-Ohio Athletic Conference goalie earned his first varsity letter.

ATHLETICS HONORS:  As a red-shirt freshman in 2014-2015, Mike was named as the OAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week on March 26, 2015. He also earned honorable mention All-OAC honors.

GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2013-2014, Mike did not play lacrosse due to an injury.

As a red-shirt freshman in 2014-2015, Mike played his first season of lacrosse and earned his first varsity letter. He was named as the OAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week on March 16, 2015 for leading BW to a 3-0 record the previous week. He also earned honorable mention All-OAC honors. Mike started all 15 games, including 795:05, allowed 83 goals (6.26 goals-per-game) with a .539 save percentage and 97 saves. He had a 12-3 mark in goal. BW finished with a school-record 12 victories, including a record 11 straight wins to start the season, a 12-3 record and advanced to the OAC Tournament semi-finals.

As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Mike is playing his second season of lacrosse and hopes to earn his second letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Mike Dizonno grew up in Buffalo Grove, Illinois and graduated from Adlai E. Stevenson High School.

Mike played four years of football and earned two varsity letters. He also played four years of lacrosse and lettered twice.

In lacrosse, Mike was the team Most Valuable Player as a senior and the Defensive MVP as a junior.
