ACADEMIC MAJOR: Human Resources

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Katie Primeau played four seasons of volleyball at Baldwin Wallace University (2011-2014) and earned four varsity letters. 

GENERAL VOLLEYBALL INFORMATION:  Katie played four years of volleyball and earned four varsity letters. She was a starter and key varsity contributor as a junior and senior. BW had a 56-62 record during her four seasons. Individually, Katie played in 63 matches and 211 sets and had 1,073 set assists, 333 defensive digs, 55 service aces and 44 kills. She hit .216 for her career.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Katie played her first season of volleyball and earned her first varsity letter. She played in nine matches and 23 sets. She recorded 13 kills and hit .169. Katie also had nine service aces and 37 defensive digs. BW finished 18-13 overall.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Katie played her second season of volleyball and earned her second letter. She played in four matches and five sets. She had one kills and hit .333. Katie also had 17 set assists, two service aces and three digs. BW finished 12-16 overall.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Katie played her third season of volleyball and earned her third letter. She played in 20 matches and 70 sets. She had 12 kills and hit .257. Katie also recorded 286 set assists, 19 service aces and 131 digs. BW finished 11-18 overall.

As a senior in 2014-2015, Katie played her fourth season of volleyball and earned her fourth letter. She played in all 30 matches and 113 sets. She had 18 kills and hit .232. Katie also had a team-leading 607 set assists, 162 digs and 25 service aces. BW finished 15-15 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Katie grew up in Pemberville, Ohio and graduated from Eastwood High School.

Katie played four years of volleyball and earned two varsity letters. She ran four seasons of track and earned four letters. She also played one season of basketball.

In volleyball as a junior, Katie was named as a first-team All-Suburban Lakes League, second-team All-District and an honorable mention All-Wood County honors. She was also named to the Oregon Clay H.S. All-Tournament Team. Katie also holds a school record with 724 set assists as a junior year. 

As a senior in volleyball, she was named the Eastwood H.S. Most Valuable Player, first-team All-Suburban Lakes League and the SLL Player of the Year. She was tabbed first-team All-District and the District Player of the Year. Katie was a first-team All-Wood County and honorable mention All-Ohio. She also was named as the Suburban Press Player of the Year, to two All-tournament teams and helped her team compete for the title at each tournament. Katie recorded 1,445 set assists for her career

In track as a junior, Katie was second-team All-SLL in the 4x200-meter relay and placed ninth at the OHSAA State Indoor Championship Meet in the long jump. As a senior, Katie placed in the top-10 for the second consecutive year in the long jump.  She recorded the fourth best triple jump in Eastwood H.S. history with a distance of 30'8".
