BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Taylor Burns will be entering her fourth season at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. Taylor earned her third varsity letter.
ACADEMIC HONORS: Taylor carries an outstanding grade point average of 3.693. In 2012-2013, Taylor was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Athletics Honor Society.
GENERAL VOLLEYBALL INFORMATION: Taylor has started off to a solid volleyball career thus far. B-W has recorded a 50-44 overall record during her first three seasons as a Yellow Jacket. She has appeared in 289 games played and has recorded 239 kills, 104 service aces, 931 digs and 25 total blocks.
As a freshman in 2010, Taylor played in 28 of the team's 33 matches in her first season of volleyball. She was second on the team with 337 digs and third with 20 services aces as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. Taylor was named to the Kalamazoo French All-Tournament Team. With her hard work and motivation Taylor was selected as the Rookie of the Year for B-W Team Awards.
As a sophomore in 2011, Taylor competed in her second season of volleyball. She played in 117 games while recording, 38 kills, 54 service aces, 351 digs, and seven total blocks.
As a junior in 2012-2013, Taylor competed in her third season of volleyball. She played in 80 games this season while recording 67 kills, 30 service assists, and 243 digs.
As a senior in 2013-2014, Taylor will look to earn her fourth varsity letter.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS PLAYED (YEARS & LETTERS EARNED): Taylor played four seasons of varsity volleyball and three seasons of varsity softball.
HIGH SCHOOL HONORS (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT, ETC.): In volleyball, as a sophomore Taylor was Second Team All-League. As a junior and senior she was First Team All-League and Third Team District both years. In addition Taylor was a Fostoria Athletic Booster her senior year. In softball Taylor was Honorable Mention All-League, Honorable Mention All-District, and an Athletic Booster her junior year.
