NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team fell to non-conference opponent Westminster College by a final score of 8-1 on the Titans' Tennis Courts. 

BW starts the season 0-2, as the Yellow Jackets fell 8-1

• Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference Gabriela Heideman (Doylestown / Wadsworth) defeats Slagle, 6-2, 4-6, 10-3
• Junior Academic All-OAC selection Kierstyn Yates (Grafton / Midview) fell to Sukal, 4-6,4-6
• Sophomore Emma Trost (Norwalk) fell to Francisco, 2-6,2-6
• Juniors Academic All-OAC selection Juliet Penrod (Macedonia / Nordonia) falls to Rossi, 0-6,0-6
• Sophomore Mattie Hicks (Oneida, N.Y.) fell to Fox, 3-6,2-6

Doubles Play (0-3)

• Heideman and Yates won against Sukal/Francisco, 2-8
• Trost and Penrod fell to Slagle/Rossi, 2-8

BW return to action on Saturday, September 18 when it travels to Wooster to take on The College of Wooster at 10:00 a.m. on the D.J. Hard Tennis Courts.
