ACADEMIC MAJOR: Digital Media Design
BW ATHLETIC INFORMATION: Courtney Schutz played her first season of women's soccer at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. The second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference and third-team All-Ohio player was BW's Offensive Player of the Year. She also earned her first varsity letter.
ATHLETICS HONORS: As a freshman in 2014-2015, Courtney earned second-team All-OAC and third-team OSCA (Ohio Soccer Coaches Association) All-Ohio honors. At the team's season-ending banquet, she was named as the Offensive Player of the Year.
RECORD-HOLDER & OAC-LEADER: As a freshman in 2014-2015, Courtney led the OAC with a school-record 11 assists
SOCCER INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2014-2015, Courtney played her first season of soccer and earned her first varsity letter. She played in all 23 matches, ranked second on the team with 49 shots, including 27 on-goal, scored five goals and had a single-season school-record and OAC-leading 11 assists to lead the team with 21 total points. She also had three game-winners to rank tied for second. For her efforts, Courtney earned second-team All-OAC and third-team OSCA (Ohio Soccer Coaches Association) All-Ohio honors. At the team's season-ending banquet, she was named as the Offensive Player of the Year. BW finished 11-9-3 overall and advanced to the OAC Championship match.
