ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Education/ Integrated Mathematics

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Kelly Gough played her second season of women's soccer at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. The 2014 Ohio Athletic Conference Defender of the Year and BW Co-Most Valuable Player earned her second varsity letter.

ATHLETIC HONORS:  As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Kelly was named as the OAC Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-OAC selection. She also earned third-team NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America)/ Continental Tire All-Great Lakes Region and second-team OCSCA (Ohio College Soccer Coaches Association) honors. At the team's season-ending banquet, Kelly was named as the Co-Most Valuable Player (along with junior goalie Emily Tallmadge) and received a "Captains" Award.

ACADEMIC HONORS:  As a sophomore, Kelly was named as a first-team OCSCA Academic All-Ohio selection.

GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION:   As a freshman in 2013-2014, Kelly played her first season of soccer and earned her first varsity letter. Kelly saw action in 19 games, including 11 starts, scored two goals and added three assists seven points. She saw action as a midfielder at the beginning of the season, but was moved to center back to fill in for injuries. Kelly was named as BW's Rookie of the Year. BW finished 14-5-1 overall and tied the single-season school-record for victories.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Kelly played her second season of soccer and earned her second letter. She played in 22 of 23 games, took 33 shots, including 20 on-goal, scored seven goals and had 14 points. She also had a team-leading four game-winning goals. Kelly was the OAC Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-OAC selection. She also earned third-team NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America)/ Continental Tire All-Great Lakes Region and second-team OCSCA (Ohio College Soccer Coaches Association) All-Ohio honors. In addition, she earned first-team Acaemic All-Ohio honors. At the team's season-ending banquet, Kelly was named as the Co-Most Valuable Player (along with junior goalie Emily Tallmadge) and received a "Captains" Award. BW finished 11-9-3 overall and advanced to the OAC Championship match.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL:   Kelly Gough grew up in Hudson, Ohio and graduated from HUdson High School.  Overall, Kelly was named as the 2013 Hudson High School Athlete of the Year and received a Ray Hyser Award in all three sports.

Kelly played four years of soccer and earned three varsity letters.  She earned OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) All-Ohio and All-Northern Ohio Conference honors, was a team captain and named as the Defensive Most Valuable Player.

Kelly played four years of basketball and earned two varsity letters. She was a team captain and earned All-District honors.

Kelly also played four seasons of softball and earned three letters. She was a two-year team captain and team MVP.

Academically, Kelly was a NOC Scholar-Athlete in all three sports. She also was named as a Hudson H.S. Scholar-Athlete.
