ACADEMIC MAJOR: Athletic Training and Exercise Science
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Jake Landers is competing in his third season of wrestling at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. He hopes to earn his second varsity letter.
GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Jake competed in his first season of wrestling and earned his first varsity letter. He was the starting 133-pounder and compiled an overall record of 5-16. Jacob totaled one pin, 11 takedowns and 20 escapes. He also had two reversals and five total near falls.
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Jake competed in his second season of wrestling and received a certificate of participation. He competed for mat time at 133 pounds. Jake had a 8-13 overall record with 10 takedowns, 16 escapes, six reversals and two total near falls. BW finished 8-3 overall and 22nd at the 2014 NCAA Division III National Tournament.
As a junior in 2014-2015, Jake is competing in his third season of wrestling and hopes to earn his second varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Jake Landers grew up in Liberty Township, Ohio and graduated from Lakota East High School.
Jake wrestled for four years and earned three varsity letters. Jacob earned first-team All-Greater Miami Conference honors, was a District qualifier and a member of Team Ohio for two years.
