MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team climbs to the No. 12 spot in D3hoops.com's sixth weekly rendition of its national poll.

BW appears in the top-25 rankings for the sixth consecutive week with 315 vote points; a 65-vote point increase from last week's No. 14 ranking. The Yellow Jackets are the sole Ohio Athletic Conference representative to have received any votes in this week's poll. BW also claims its highest national ranking since garnering the No. 12 position in the 2008-09 preseason poll.

The Yellow Jackets' two-spot jump in the national rankings comes following a week that featured two convincing OAC victories, with the first coming on the road against the University of Mount Union by a final score of 71-49, and the second happening at home against Otterbein University by a final score of 71-53. In addition to BW's 20-point average margin of victory this past week, its upward transition in the national rankings can also be credited to an ongoing four-game win streak, and an undefeated 6-0 record in conference play.

The Yellow Jackets will return to the court on Wednesday, January 15 when they host Ohio Northern University for an OAC matchup in Ursprung Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m.
