ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Exercise Science

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Alissa Munro played her third season of basketball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. She earned her third varsity letter.

ATHLETIC HONORS:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Alissa was named to the Franklin (Ind.) College All-Tournament team.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Alissa earned Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors on February 17, 2014.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Alissa was named to the all-tourney team at the Second Annual BW Invitational.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Alissa played her first season of basketball and earned her first varsity letter.  She came off the bench to appear in all 25 games and averaged 5.6 points and 2.8 rebounds-per-game. She shot 47.6 percent (49-of-103) from the field, including a team-best 46.9% (30-of-64) from three-point range, and led the team with 30 three-pointers.  Alissa also tallied 12 assists, 10 blocked shots and eight steals.  She was named to the Franklin (Ind.) College All-Tournament team. She scored in double-figures five times, including in the first three games of her career, and registered a season-high 14 markers in consecutive games against Franklin (Ind.) College on November 17, 2013 and versus Case Western Reserve University on Nov. 20, 2013. BW finished 16-9 overall.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Alissa played her second season of basketball and earned her second letter. She appeared in 29 games, averaged 9.6 ppg. and 3.0 rpg. Alissa also registered 23 assists, 18 steals and 14 blocked shots. She also led the team in both three-point field goals made (58) and three-point field goal percentage (45%). Alissa earned OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors on February 17, 2014 for her efforts in wins versus John Carroll University and Marietta College. BW finished 22-7 overall, won the BW Invitational title, was the OAC regular season co-champion and advanced to the "Sweet 16" round of the NCAA Division III National Tournament.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Alissa played her third season of basketball and earned her third letter. She came off the bench in all 29 games and averaged 5.6 ppg. and 2.2 rpg. She also tied for second with 28 three-pointers, 23 steals, 16 blocked shots and nine assists. She scored a season-high 22 points in an 83-66 Second Annual BW Tournament Championship Game win versus Buffalo State (N.Y.) University on November 23, 2014. Alissa was named to the all-tourney team. BW finished 22-7 overall, won the BW Invitational title, captured the OAC Tournament title and earned a berth in the 2015 NCAA Division III National Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL BACKGROUND:  Alissa Munro grew up in Mansfield, Ohio and graduated from Lexington High School.

Alissa played four years of basketball and earned four varsity letters.  

Alissa topped the 1000 point mark in her four-year career. As a sophomore, she was second-team All-Ohio Cardinal Conference and honerable mention All-District 6.  As a junior, Alissa was first-team OCC, Special Mention All-Northwest District and second-team All-District 6.  As a senior, she was first-team OCC, second-team District 6 and third-team All-Northwest District.
