GENERAL CROSS COUNTRY INFORMATION:
Dan Nowak competed in his second season of cross country and earned his second varsity letter.
As a freshman in 2012-2013, Dan competed in his first season of cross country and earned his first varsity letter. His fastest time in the 8K came at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble where he finished 190th out of 275 total runners in a time of 27:22.0. Dan also competed at the season-ending Ohio Athletic Conference Championships where he finished 80th out of 147 total runners in a mark of 28:05.8.
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Dan competed in his second season of cross country and earned his second varsity letter. Dan competed in the All-Ohio Inter-Collegiate Championships where he placed 94th out of 143 runners with a time of 29:34.53. In the All-Ohio Championships Dan finished 94th with a time of 29:34.53. At the OAC Championship meet he placed 93rd of 140 total runners crossing the finishline at 28:26.9. Dan placed 215th at the Great Lakes Regin Championship meet finishing in a time of 29:54.4.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Dan grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia and graduated from University High School. He ran cross country and earned four varsity letters, competed in track and earned one varsity letter, and played lacrosse and earned three varsity letters.
In cross country, Dan was co-captain of the team. As a senior, he was named to the All-Conference team and was also a Regional Runner-Up. In lacrosse, Dan won the State Championship during his junior season.
