BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a junior in 2011-12, Joe played in his third season of tennis. He has earned three varsity letters.

GENERAL TENNIS INFORMATION: Joe has had a solid tennis career thus far. B-W has recorded an 69-10 record during his first two seasons as a Yellow Jacket. He has appeared in 80 singles matches for a record of 72-8. Joe has also appeared in 79 doubles matches for a record of 65-14.

As a freshman in 2009-10, Joe played in his first season of tennis and earned his first varsity letter. He split time as the starter between the No.3, No.4 and No.5 singles positions and combined with fellow freshman Tyler Beaton as the No.3 doubles tandem. He earned the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week honor on March 15 for his efforts during B-W's spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina (March 7-12). Joe was named second team All-OAC.  In singles play, Joe compiled a record of 24-1.  In doubles play, Joe went 19-2 with Tyler Beaton and 3-0 with Sam Burris for a combined record of 22-2. B-W compiled a 19-4 record.

As a sophomore in 2010-11, Joe played his second season of tennis and earned his second varsity letter. He was the starter at No.2 singles and combined with Matt Lachman as the No.1 doubles tandem. He compiled a 21-5 singles mark and he and Lachman were 19-6 in doubles with his overall doubles slate being 21-5. He was named second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference for the second straight season.

As a junior in 2011-12, Joe played in his third season of tennis for the Yellow Jackets. He started at No.2 singles and teams with junior Tyler Beaton (Bemus Point, N.Y.) at No.2 doubles. Joe earned OAC Player of the Week honors on March 12 for compiling a 6-0 singles and 6-0 doubles mark on the spting break trip to Hilton Head, S.C. His finished with a record of  27-2 in singles play and 24-6 in doubles play for an overall record of 51-8. B-W finished their season with a 29-1 record overall, won the OAC regular season and torunament titles and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III National Tournament
