BEREA, Ohio --  Freshman Jacob Burk (Bowling Green) was named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Male Swimmer of the Week.  

Burk, who garners his second OAC accolade of the winter, won three events individually and swam on a winning relay team as the Yellow Jackets split a pair of dual meets. On Friday, January 31 at Defiance, Burk won the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:37.51 and the 100-yard backstroke in a season and career-best time of 1:03.30 and swam on the winning 200-yard medley relay team.  On Saturday, February 1 at Case, he won the 1650 free in 16:53.83.

The Yellow Jacket swimming and diving teams host the 2014 OAC Championship Meet at the University of Akron from February 13-15.
