Two Men’s Soccer Student-Athletes Garner All-OAC Honors

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Two Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer student-athletes have been named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference team for the 2022 season.

Senior defender Trevor Hamm (Strongsville) and sophomore goalkeeper Zoltan Nagy (Lakewood/St. Edward) were both selected to the third team.

Hamm, who earns his third career honor, was the leader and anchor of the Yellow Jacket defense. He appeared and started in 16 games while scoring one goal for two points. He took a career-high 16 shots on the season with five on goal. For his career, Hamm appeared and started in 83 games and took 40 shots and scored four goals. Off the field, he is a three-time Academic All-OAC performer, an Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association Academic All-Ohio first team selection, a Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society. 

Nagy, who garners his first career All-OAC selection, had a career-best season in which he appeared and started in 18 games. Nagy led the squad with an 11-5-2 record in net. He was second in the OAC and led the team with a career-best 80 saves allowed, he was second in the OAC and led the team with a .816 save percentage and he was fourth in the OAC and led the team with a 1.07 goals allowed average. He also led the way with seven shutouts and allowed a career-low 18 goals.  For his career, Nagy has appeared and started in 30 games between the pipes with a record of 15-12-3.  He has tallied 125 saves in 2, 236 minutes of action.

BW finished the season with an 11-6-2 overall record and a 2-6-1 mark in the OAC.
