BEXLEY, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team faced Capital University for an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup on the Purmort Field inside the Bernlohr Stadium. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Comets by a 10-9 final score in double overtime.
BW (4-6, 3-1 OAC) was led by senior attack/midfielder Jake Nanosky (Medina) as he notched up three goals, a ground ball, an assist and a caused turnover. The Yellow Jackets were also led by senior midfielder Hunter Boehm (Delaware / Olentangy) and sophomore All-OAC attack/midfielder Bennet Trout (Pickerington / North). Boehm secured the game-winning goal at the 01:37 mark of double overtime, in addition to scoring a goal in the fourth quarter and picking up two ground balls. Trout racked up two goals, an assist, thee ground balls and a caused turnover in BW's victory.
Capital was led by senior attack Mason Spaulding as he tallied five goals, two ground balls and a caused turnover.
