BW Men Play in the First Day of Muskingum Golf Tourney

ZANESVILLE, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team carded a 317-stroke team total on the first day of the annual Muskingum University Spring Invitational Tournament today (Friday, April 5, 2013) at the par-70 and 6,508-yard Eagle Sticks Golf Club. The second and final round will be played tomorrow, Saturday, April 6. The Yellow Jackets are scheduled to tee off sometime between 10-11:00 a.m.

Individually, sophomore Adam Sanders (Fairview Park/ Fairview), last week's Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, shot a team-low 74. He was followed by junior Chris Nader (Westlake) with a 77, sophomore Cody Lyon (Wadsworth/ Medina Highland) wth an 80, junior Augie Ward (Medina/ Walsh Jesuit) with an 86 and sophomore Andy Ingram (Vermilion) with an 87.

BW returns to action next week when it travels to Sunbury, Ohio to compete in the 2013 OAC Spring Invitational Tournament at the Rattlesnake Ridge Golf Club.
