Gugliotta, who carries a 3.69 grade point average in BW's 3:2 Master's of Accounting Program, was named as an Academic All-District 7 selection a year ago.  This season, he is batting .378 (54-for-143) with 44 runs scored, 10 doubles, one triple, one homerun, 38 runs batted-in and 11 stolen bases.  The All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC choice a year ago has a .387 career batting average (130-for-336) with 89 runs scored.

"We are extremely pleased that Brad is being recognized by the sports information directors in District 7 for his outstanding efforts both in the classroom and on the baseball field," said fourth-year Head Coach Brian Harrison. "Brad has been a key member of our varsity for the past three years as a student, teammate and team-leader. We appreciate the SID's recognizing his excellence."

The Yellow Jackets play their final regular season doubleheader today when they face OAC rival Capital University in a key twinbill on Seniors' & Parents' Day at 1:00 p.m.
