CAPITAL ONE ACADEMIC All-AMERICAN:    As a senior in 2013-2014, Brad was named as a third-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American. He also was a two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference (2013 and 2014) and two-time first-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 (2013-2014) selection. 

ACADEMIC HONORS:   Brad carried a 3.69 grade point average and was a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar.

ATHLETIC HONORS:   As a senior in 2013-2014, Brad was named  first-team All-OAC and he was tabbed to the OAC Tournament all-tournament team. As a junior in 2012-2013, Brad was named as the NCBWA (National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association) National Division III and as the OAC Hitter of the Week on April 8, 2013. He also earned second-team All-OAC honors.

BASEBALL INFORMATION:   Brad Gugliotta had an outstanding four-year baseball career at Baldwin Wallace University. Brad helped to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 101-63 record, the 2014 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional title and the school's first-ever appearance in the College Baseball World Series.

Individually, Brad was a two-time All-OAC (2013 and 2014), two-time Academic All-OAC (2013 and 2014) and two-time CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 selection (2013 and 2014). He was named as a third-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American (2014). He played in 118 career games, including 98 starts, hit .386 (158-for-409) with 103 runs scored, 25 doubles, four triples, one home run, 88 runs batted-in (RBI) and 19 stolen bases. His 82 base hits as a senior set a BW single-season record.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Brad played in his first season of baseball and received a certificate of participation.  He appeared in eight varsity games as a utility (second base, shortstop or third base) and started once. Brad hit .250 (1-for-4).  BW finished 17-17.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Brad played in his second season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in 24 games as a utility infielder and started 11. He hit .429 (24-of-56) with eight runs scored, two doubles, one triple, one stolen base and 17 runs batted-in (RBI). He helped BW win 27 games to finish 27-13 overall.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Brad played his third season of baseball and earned his second letter.  He was named as the NCBWA (National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association) National Division III and the Ohio Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week on April 8, 2013. He was 12-for-18 at the plate (.667 batting average) with 11 RBI. For the season, he batted .383 (51-for-133) to rank second on the team.  He also scored 37 runs, had seven doubles, one triple, a team-leading 3 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 13 attempts.  Brad was named as a first-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District VII selection. He also was named second-team All-OAC.  BW finished 27-13 overall.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Brad played his fourth season of baseball and earned his third letter. He started at third base. Brad hit .380 (82-for-216) with 58 runs scored (second most all-time), 16 doubles, two triples, one home run, 33 RBI and seven steals. He earned first-team All-OAC, Academic All-OAC, first-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 and third-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-America honors. Brad helped BW to earn a spot in the OAC Tournament, place second and earn OAC Tournament all-tournament team accolades. He helped BW advance to the 2014 NCAA Division III National Tournament, win the Mid-Atlantic Regional title and advance to the school's first-ever Division III College World Series. BW finished with a school-record 30 wins and a 30-20 record.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Brad Gugliotta grew up in Twinsburg, Ohio and graduated from Twinsburg High School.  He played four years of baseball and earned two varsity letters. He also played football as a freshman but did not earn a letter.

In baseball as a senior, Brad was selected for the Greater Cleveland Baseball Coaches Association All-Star game for his outstnading play. Statistically, he hit.455 and had one home run as a senior.
