Alic Earns First Career OAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Honor

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Freshman midfielder Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind. / Guerin Catholic) of the Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

Alic led the Yellow Jackets' offense in their home victories this week against crosstown rival John Carroll University and Capital University. She notched eight goals throughout the week while providing five assists for her teammates. Additionally, Alic won an oustanding 13 draw controls and picked up seven ground balls, allowing BW to get a lot of offensive action. Her two caused turnovers almost instantly led to a goal being scored.

This season, Alic leads the team in goals (37), assists (15) and draw controls (57).

BW is back in action on Wednesday, April 10 for an Ohio Athletic Conference road contest against the University of Mount Union. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m. inside of Kehres Stadium.
