Ray Earns First Career OAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Honors

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse senior All-OAC midfielder Maddie Ray (Cuyahoga Falls/Richfield Revere) has been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

Ray receives this honor after scoring a career-best tying six goals and dishing out two assists for a career-best tying eight points. She also had a career-high three caused turnovers and she collected one ground ball.

After the opening week of the women's lacrosse season, Ray is tied for the OAC lead in goals and points. She is also tied for third in the OAC in assists and caused turnovers.

BW is back in action on Saturday, February 26th when it hosts a non-conference game against Allegheny (Pa.) College on the Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium at 5:00 p.m.
