Women's Basketball Moves Up in Latest WBCA Top-25 Poll

LILBURN, Ga. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team has shot up in the latest Women's Basketball Coaches Association Top-25 poll.

BW, who last ranked 24th last week, jumps up one spot to 23.  The Yellow Jackets have won 11 of their last 12 games and are the only Ohio Athletic Conference team ranked in the poll.

BW who enters this week with a record of 14-3 and sits alone at the top of the OAC standings with a perfect 10-0 mark.  The Yellow Jackets crusied past Heidelberg University by a final score of 89-49 last Wednesday and ended the week with a 61-38 victory over Muskingum University on Saturday

BW is back in action on Wednesday, January 24 when it travels to Alliance for an OAC game against the University of Mount Union at 7 p.m.   The Yellow Jackets close out the week with an OAC road game against Capital University on Saturday, January 27 at 2 p.m.
